One of the materials that I am always excited to work with is Bamboo. During my Internship with Rhizome, I designed a folding privacy chair, stool tops and upholstery for sofas for their client; Godrej Interio.

The chair is designed for urban apartments and balconies where there is usually a shortage of space. It is for people who like to have a cozy escape from the mundane or their own reading corner.

A 1:5 collapsible prototype was created and worked upon during the course of the internship.
