A quick assignment in college required us to gather waste from the vegetable market and design products with them.

 

Design concept: I noticed few women vendors with infants who brought their own cradles to the market. 

This gave me the idea to design inexpensive cradles with the waste available there.

 

Material: Broken plastic crates, jute from sacks and new muslin cloth were used to make the bed. Old cycle rims were cut in half and attached to the bottom to make a rocking cradle.
